Someone bought me this simple chocolate cupcake for me on my birthday last year, as a simple gesture. It reminded that the best recipe for a cupcake is pure simplicity. This is not to say that one should not experiment but sometimes it is the simplicity of a cupcake that makes you smile, bringing nostalgia. Although it was my 20-something birthday, this cupcake made me feel like a little girl :)
